It all began when I was blessed with two grand dogs, plus my past history of having dogs all my life that lead me to wanting to paint them. Dogs add such joy to our lives and can teach us so much with their outlook on life. From living in the moment, to loving life’s simplest events, to their honest good natured spirits, it all comes together in our wonderful furry friends….and I found myself drawn to capture their essence. While I’m painting their images onto my canvas, they make me laugh and together we create an element that goes full circle, from the dog, to me, to you.

With a degree from Cornish College of the Arts in Interior Design and a background in fine arts I have been working with design in relationship to color, form, texture and intuitively expressing my clients personality (human and dog) in the final solution.

Most of my life I have lived in Seattle with the exception of sixteen years on San Juan Island with my husband and our two children, surrounded by dogs, chickens, bunnies, hamsters, deer, whales and assorted island animals. We’re now back in Seattle dog sitting our grand dogs, painting, creating paper mâché, cartoons and traveling.

Thank you for visiting my site and I hope it puts a smile on your face, just as those little furry creatures put one on mine.
