Vancouver Island August 2019
Here we are beginning our Anniversary trip with our Tear Drop and a car full of groceries and a beautiful yellow rose. We started at Salt Spring Island and enjoyed their outdoor public market, where we found that a large portion of the island residents have small creative businesses. It seemed like every driveway had an arty sign advertising their craft. We then drove to Tofino for a couple of days, and then to Sprout Lake to camp. On our way to Victoria we stopped at Coombs, where they have a fantastic array of shops and a tourist attraction of goats, munching grass on the roof of their grocery store. If you’re going that way it’s a must stop, not because of the goats but the shops. We continued onto Victoria where we stayed in our favorite B & B for a couple nights.

Coombs wonderful grocery shop.

Ron lost his ring in a campground and we returned to find 2 couples camping in our spot. We all went searching and one of the gals said “is this it”? Lucky, lucky!

If you can believe it….made from driftwood!
